Potenza
casual dining restaurant • Washington, DC

Potenza, a new restaurant, bakery, and wine shop by CORE is located in the Woodward building on the corner of 15th and H Streets, NW. Key elements of the design include a 40-seat zinc top floating bar, a preserved historic hall that bridges the main dining room and the salumi, charcuterie counters, and raw bar. Italian culture and cuisine inspired the restaurant design. Warm colors, plush fabrics, and casual furnishings create a comfortable and rustic dining room.

The neighboring bakery is inspired by street-side café’s in Italy with mosaic gray and white tiles and stainless steel gelato and pastry displays. The wine shop features plaster exposed walls, custom made millwork, and stainless light fixtures which create an old world rustic feel.

The restaurant is owned by Stir Food Group, owners of Zola, Spy Cafe, and Zola Wine Kitchen.
