This project was the manifestation of modern, signature dining as created by an award-winning chef. Deeply rooted in classical elements, the menu and the space needed to reflect a modern perspective – one that is playful, innovative, sublime yet very memorable. The restaurant is a recreation of the traditional classic French brasserie where the modern language of architecture blends with technology. Well-trimmed paneling, an ornate metal ceiling and a traditionally crafted zinc bar set the scene. Glass screens, lighting, mirrors, materials and media provide the modern touch. By utilizing scale, lighting and illusion, the experience is adventurous, the atmosphere hip, yet the exposed kitchen and the flow of the space directs the focus to the menu and signature dining.
